GROWING UP IN GARY

In the early 1990's I met the Rose family in a holler in Gary, West Virginia. The family, led by divorced parents Maxine and James Rose, was comprised of ten children with James' new partner, Rachel. The children spent time fluidly between both houses side-by-side. It was my first photo project, and I'm grateful for them allowing me to document their life.
